A REBASE TOKEN ON ROBINHOOD CHAIN
$SPX
one token. one SPY.
supply does the chasing so price doesn't have to. daily rebase at 02:00 UTC, every wallet at once — same factor, same second.
hi. the S&P 500 is now a unit of account. $SPX targets the price of one tokenized SPY on Robinhood Chain, 24/7. trade above target and supply expands. below, it contracts. every wallet, the same percentage, once a day — price walks back to target, and your token count does the walking.
the numbers — what is real before genesis

THE FIRST COUNT
GENESIS SUPPLY
the target already trades. the token does not — that's what genesis is for. nothing on this page pretends otherwise.
how it works
three moving parts. none of them are your keys.
two oracles, one job
the target is chainlink's SPY/USD feed — time-weighted, frozen on weekends like the index itself. the market is $SPX's own pool TWAP, converted to dollars via the USDG/USD feed. the economics are immutable. the pool is pinned to the canonical factory pair and cannot be swapped for another. the price feeds are not pinned: a 48h-timelocked guardian can re-point them at any contract that answers like an aggregator. read the docs before you rely on that.
the band
under 5% deviation, nothing happens — the protocol touches grass. at 5% or more, supply moves ~1/10th of the gap at 02:00 UTC. slow by design. boring by design.
everyone rebases together
balances scale by the same factor in every wallet, every rebase. your share never changes — except during expansions, when 10% of new supply funds the geyser. contractions are pure.
$SPX > SPY
supply prints. wallet number goes up. this is the one you screenshot.
under ±5%
no rebase tonight. the protocol sleeps like NYSE on a Sunday. at 5% it wakes up.
$SPX < SPY
supply burns. everyone's wallet. equally. read the docs before you panic.
rebase calculator
HYPOTHETICALdrag the price. watch supply do its job. the target is the SPY/USD target; the market price is yours to invent.

STATUS
TONIGHT'S REBASE
YOUR 1,000 SPX →
price walks to target. your token count does the walking.
rebase = gap ÷ 10, triggered at 5% deviation or more — under that, nothing. the arithmetic is the protocol's; the market price is hypothetical until there is a market.
wall street sleeps. the index doesn't.
SPY already trades on Robinhood Chain around the clock — that part is live today, and so is the price above. our target follows it through nights and everything else the exchange calendar is too polite to price. on weekends the target freezes at friday's close — exactly like the index — while $SPX, once live, keeps trading. the only S&P you can watch at 3am on a Sunday. we're not saying you should. we're saying you can.
*ignores exchange holidays. we don't do holidays either.
not financial advice
Not S&P 500 exposure. your wealth tracks demand for $SPX, not the index. if the S&P pumps and nobody buys $SPX, balances contract until price meets target. this is the whole mechanism. it is also the part everyone skips.
Not a stablecoin. the target moves with SPY. the supply moves with everything else. nothing here is stable, including us.
Not financial advice. nothing on this page is. especially the ticker.
have you heard the good news?
there is a token that follows the index. it isn't live yet — but the counting has started. sign one free message and you are a numbered believer, permanently: a low number, a sigil grown from your signature, a page to point at. your wallet is never shown. the number is the identity.
the first count is unscheduled. it will have a date. you can already have a number.
do you want to be counted?
connect a wallet and sign one free message. that's the whole ritual.
the gate: price climbs the steps to target, one count at a time. the dashed bit is the deviation. close the gap.

counter is real. it counts wallets that signed. it starts small — that's what early means.
faq
why did my balance change?
the protocol rebased. once a day, every wallet's balance scales by the same factor so the price walks toward the SPY target. contractions leave your share of the network untouched; expansions carve 10% of the new supply out for the geyser, so your share dilutes by that skim — and only that.
how is this related to Ampleforth?
$SPX runs on Ampleforth's rebase machinery — the uFragments architecture that's been live on mainnet since 2019 — pointed at a new target: the S&P 500, read from SPY's on-chain price. open source, GPL-3.0, credit where it's due.
who controls the oracle?
the economics — band, lag, skim, cap — are immutable, and the rebase call is permissionless. the sources sit behind a guardian with a 48-hour timelock, and the two legs are not equally protected. the market pool is pinned: only the canonical factory pair for SPX/USDG is accepted, so it cannot be re-pointed at a pool the guardian controls. the price feeds are only shape-checked — sane decimals, a name, a positive answer — so after the timelock the guardian can point them at any contract that answers like an aggregator, including a hostile one. the per-epoch cap bounds one day of that; it does not bound repeated days. we plan to ossify the role within 12 months.
when is genesis?
unscheduled. everything deploys, seeds the pool, burns the LP, and renounces the keys in one transaction — when that transaction has a date, the countdown on this page will show it. get counted and you'll be holding a number before it does.
where are the contracts?
nowhere. nothing is deployed yet. when genesis happens, the docs deployment table becomes the only source of truth — anything calling itself $SPX before that page has addresses is not us. that includes tokens with our name on other chains. especially those.
